Mulching & Wood Chipping Gold Coast

Two jobs sit under this heading on the Gold Coast. The first is getting your green waste gone after a DIY prune or a storm wash up, the chipper rolls up the driveway, the branches go in, and the chips either stay as mulch or get carted off. The second is the other way around, you have a garden bed that wants 4 cubic metres of mulch delivered tomorrow, we drop it on the verge from the tipper.

For on site chipping at a Gold Coast address, our chippers will take branches up to around 200mm diameter. Anything thicker we cut into chunks on the lawn first and feed the smaller pieces through. Most owners keep the chip as mulch on the spot, fresh subtropical chip is good around tuckeroo, lillipilly and banksia, locks the moisture in over a long dry stretch, and breaks down inside a year on the coast.

For bulk delivery we run fresh chip, aged composted mulch and coloured landscape mulch. Fresh chip works on paths and around established trees. Aged mulch has been composted for months and is ready to feed the soil under a new garden bed. Coloured mulch suits a feature bed or a commercial site.
